American Controls, Inc. will again present our DURAFLO DEF dispensing equipment and systems at the NACS SHOW in Atlanta October 6-8, 2010. We will be in BOOTH 815 in the PEI section of the show. Last year we had many interesting inquiries and discussions. This year with an increasing number of SCR equipped vehicles on the streets and highways, we expect even more discussion. Our products are especially targeted toward use by Transit Systems, Municipal Fleets and Private Fleets for refilling the vehicle DEF tanks. Be sure to stop by the booth to say hello.

American Controls, Inc. and Finish Thompson Inc. (FTI) last week signed a memorandum of understanding making ACI the DEF Product distributor for FTI Drum and Tote pumps and systems for 7 North Mid-Western States. This is a fine addition to the line of Products being offered by ACI under their DURAFLO brand of specialized products for Diesel Emission Fluid (AUS 32) dispensing. DURAFLO systems are designed to provide safe, dependable, efficient and effective units to suit the municipal, fleet and diesel maintenance facility specific dispensing needs. We are pleased and proud to have been selected by Finish Thompson, Inc. for this opportunity.

With our Canadian partner/manufacturing/distributor Magton Machining & Automation, the Duraflo DEF dispensing equipment and systems will be presented at Truck World 2010 in Toronto April 15, 16 & 17, 2010. This is the Canada’s National Truck Show with over 300 exhibitors. This is another opportunity to increase the knowledge of those who will need DEF for their vehicles for more environmentally friendly operation as well as higher efficiency for diesel engines.

According to a March 12 press report, Yara has decided not to increase it’s bid following a new bid from C F Industries Holdings, Inc. of Illinois of $4.7 Billion. This changes the supply picture for DEF in North America once again.

Colonial Chemical in New Jersey and Yara International reached an agreement to work together for DEF manufacturing and sales late last year. Now last month Terra Industries, the largest North American source for DEF as well as agricultural use Urea, reached an agreement to be bought by Yara International for $4.1 bln. making Yara the major supplier of DEF to the U.S. market.
