What Has ACI been up to with DURAFLO?
In June,2009 American Controls, Inc. introduced our DURAFLO line of DEF dispensing equipment at the PEI DEF Conference in Nashville. A display of our equipment was presented during the technical presentations at the conference.
In July, ACI was admitted to full membership in PEI as a manufacturer.
In August,2009 Yeager Engineered Systems and ACI reached an agreement for them to be sales representatives for us in New England and the Middle Atlantic States. Their web site is www.trustedvendor.com. They represent premier equipment suppliers from PEI.
In September,2009 ACI presented our drum dispense unit for DEF at the Michigan Clean Transportation Expo and Awards Gala, highlighting our DURAFLO systems. This involved municipalities and companies throughout Michigan with emphasis on Green Energy and Cleaner Environmental responsibility.
In October, 2009 our DURAFLO line of systems for Municipal and Industrial DEF dispensing were presented at the NACS/PEI Convention and Trade Show in Las Vegas. Over 40,000 attendees were registered to the event lasting four days with significant interest in the need for functional and dependable DEF handling systems for filling the new diesel engine vehicles coming in 2010. The awareness of the clean air regulations and the need for the equipment has begun to spread.

Also in October, Magton Machining and Automation became a distributor for DURAFLO DEF Dispensing Systems in Canada covering Ontario and Quebec. Magton has been a working partner with ACI in the automotive assembly plant fuel fill equipment and is excited to be able to offer the DURAFLO systems in their market area.
In November, 2009 American Controls, Inc. participated with Yeager Engineered System in presenting the DURAFLO DEF Dispensing Systems at the New Jersey State League of Municipalities Convention in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The practical filling systems for Municipal Fleet and Transportation market applications were well received.
There is a definite developing awareness in the other terms involving DEF and an understanding of the importance of AUS 32 being the accepted certified material (certification by the American Petroleum Institute) to be used for the vehicles.
